When will the doctor see me?

How often will I have therapy?

Most patients, depending on their condition and when they are admitted, will start rehab within 24 hours of admission and will receive therapy five to seven times per week.

How long is a typical stay?

Each case is different and unique. Patient progress is reviewed weekly by our Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) of nurses, therapists, and dietitians. Our main goal is that you reach your highest level of independence.

No, you do not need to provide medications unless specifically told to do so. Upon admission, we will order your medications using our off-site pharmacy then securely store them on-site to ensure safety.

What type of clothing items should I bring?

We encourage you to bring a pair of comfortable shoes and at least seven days worth of comfortable clothing including pajamas and undergarments.

Can I bring personal belongings?

Yes! We encourage you to bring personal items such as family photos, blankets, and decorative items. Anything that will help make your stay more comfortable.

How is laundry completed?

Should you wish to have your laundry washed by us, please notify the front office upon admission. Subsequently, if a family/caregiver is going to take care of the laundry at home, please let the nursing station know your plans. This way, the staff can place a sign on the closet door notifying our housekeeping staff to leave the clothing for family pick up. We request that family provide a hamper for clothes and pick it up twice a week.

All personal clothing is washed in an industrial washing machine at a temperature of 180 degrees. Make sure your loved ones’ clothing is appropriate for washing and drying in these hot temperatures. Avoid bringing clothing that requires cold or warm water, special care, or is subject to damage and fading. All clothing must be labeled. Please label the clothing with the resident’s name, NOT the room number or initials. Mark clearly and in large letters on the inside neckline or waistband. All items must be marked including socks, shoes, and other personal items.

Can I get haircuts?

Yes, we have beauticians available.

How is mail delivered?

Mail is delivered to residents personally on a daily basis except for weekends and holidays.
