I work as a professional legal guardian. Currently I work in 14 facilities but I’ve been in dozens more over the years. This building communicates so much more than any other nursing home about my client. For me, communication is so valuable because I can’t be there all the time. I have always found the facility to be clean, the staff is available for questions and they know their residents well. I look forward to having other clients placed there in the future!

Hello, We are very sorry to hear this. If you would like to contact the facility and possibly go over why you felt your experience was the way it was, we would appreciate the insight on seeing what we can do to better the outcome.

I have never been so disappointed!! When asking for help it doesn’t come I was told by a supervisor that during breakfast lunch or dinner time they do not take care of your personal needs. If you need to pee do it in the bed and when they get a chance they will clean it . I’m in for physical therapy for 4 days now and have not seen any one

I don’t know where these one star people went but it is very nice here. Can it use a little updating? Yes some of the furniture is older and there are some stains on the carpet. As far as the carpet they can’t wash it weekly. The staff is very nice and helpful. I only experienced 2 crabby people and I think that’s great. The food is very good for nursing home food. I wasn’t expecting Michelin star good 😂. Unfortunately some older patients are demanding but they do get to them as quick as possible. A lady had an accident one day and they were there immediately. My parents are older so I learned that if a facility smells when you walk in just walk out. Oh course you’re going to pass the occasional stinky room but that’s to be expected. Hopefully I’ll never have to come back as a patient. But if I do I would definitely come here.

If you care about your family member, don’t bring them here. There are some nice staff. The head of nursing is amazing. The main administrator :Rachel Groppi, is never here. Doesn’t return phone calls, the new administrator, I have not met yet. He’s nice on the phone. Nothing gets done. My mom can’t get her money. Insurance booklet, we never received. I almost had to bathe her myself today. She smelled like urine. Her roommate gets upset when Ieave. I was changing my mom today, cleaning staff came to the door. Couldn’t wait 5 minutes. Her clothes go missing. Bruises everywhere. A patient had to send me a picture of my mom with a black eye. Not all the employees are horrible. They aren’t. The food is more than awful. No cameras anywhere. Patients are upset. We liked it at first. The nice lady that showed us the place, no longer here after 16 years. They show a room that appears to be nice. A/C doesn’t work that well even after being fixed. When the problems are brought up, we will address it. They dont. A nurse here earlier had the worst vibe coming from her. I have never seen the woman before. Don’t send your loved one here. Just don’t do it.

My father stayed here for rehabilitation, and our experience was deeply troubling. He ultimately ended up in the ICU with sepsis that was not being effectively treated and extremely high ammonia levels. From the start, there was no orientation, no greeting, and no care planning meeting scheduled until more than a week after his arrival. Communication and responsiveness were poor throughout his stay. Call buttons often went unanswered for one to two hours—something I personally witnessed multiple times, especially in the evenings. Even when alarms were sounding, I saw staff sitting at the nurses’ station looking at pictures on their phones and ignoring patients and families. More than once, I heard staff say, “That’s not my job.” One morning, it took over an hour for someone to help my father to the bathroom. When I asked why, the woman in charge told me it was because it was breakfast time and they had to get the food out while it was still warm. What does that say about their priorities and their staffing levels? A nurse dismissed my request for Tylenol with “I’m not his nurse, I’ll look into it,” but no one ever followed up. During a fire alarm, no one came to provide information for 15–20 minutes while it continued to sound. The facility itself was extremely dirty and rundown. The beds were worn out, the carpet was stained, and the furniture was falling apart (I’ve included photos). Trash in the bathroom was not emptied for five days—only after I asked housekeeping twice. In front of the occupational therapist, housekeeping even refused to empty one trash can; the OT shook her head and said she would take care of it herself. A urinal was left on the floor for my father’s entire stay. On top of this, staff left a sheet with a patient’s medical information on my father’s bed, which I believe is a clear HIPAA violation. The environment often felt unprofessional. I overheard housekeeping speaking poorly about my father’s roommate (calling him “not smart”), staff played loud music at the nurses’ station, and basic accountability seemed to be missing. While I initially assumed these issues might be caused by staffing shortages, supervisors repeatedly said they were fully staffed, which makes it even more concerning. To be fair, there were a few bright spots. The social workers, especially Bre, were compassionate and listened to concerns. His occupational therapist and the nurse practitioner were good, and the food was okay. But these positives do not outweigh the serious concerns with patient care, safety, cleanliness, and professionalism. Others may have had better experiences, and I sincerely hope they did. I write this so others can make their own decision, but based on what we experienced, I strongly recommend avoiding this facility at all costs.

My 84 year old aunt went to this facility after a head injury. She is handicapped so she needs a little extra attention. Our family as always been patient with facilities such as this one understanding that have numerous patients and a lot to get done. HOWEVER, this had to be the worst care my aunt has ever received!!!!! The disregard to helping her get better was painful to watch. She was here for almost 2 weeks. Her speech lessened, the food was terrible, and most of the didn’t even have the tv turned on for her, and we could never get a hold of anyone on the phone. The biggest concern though was that they did not get her out the bed ONCE, and as a skilled nursing you think this be a top priority. The one time they did I had arrived and she was screaming for help because her helper buttoned seemed nothing to her because she sitting in her poop in what seemed like 3 hours. Nurses are no where to be found, they are rude, and you can tell they were putting on a show for me because family was there. In the process of getting her out of there they failed to transfer any type of paper work so the next facility knew what to expect. Like I said our family is very understanding and patient with these places but this place hurt us.

I have been coming to this facility for years as an outsider care provider. The facility is always clean and aesthetically pleasing. The staff is wonderful. Many other facilities have frequent staff turnover. This facility is different. The Director of Nursing has been in her role for years! She runs a wonderful building, and will always pitch in when help is needed. She does not shy away from the work. She dives in to help provide care for all of the residents who require care. 🙂

Horrible place! From the moment I rolled in till I rolled out 16 days later! Some not all the nursing staff are rude! Residents are even having an attitude with other residents! The administrator is nice at first then she turns on you! I urge everyone reading this review don’t put your loved ones here! If I could give this place a negative star I would! It’s that bad

My mother has been resident in this wonderful facility since July of 2024. The staff here are the best and this is coming from a nurse of over 30 years. She was in the hospital for a few days and I couldn’t wait to get her back to where she would be cared for! This truly feels like home for her!
